News Media & Your Law Practice is a CLE program that Mark developed to help lawyers understand the ethics, legalities and practicalities of dealing with what is commonly referred to as “The Press.” Using state bar ethics rules, court decisions and comments from academics and practitioners, Mark walks the audience through the landmines that are today’s news media. The goal is to help lawyers understand how they can better represent their clients and causes and even how to promote themselves and their law practices in today’s media world. This program can be one-hour or expanded to two hours by putting together a panel of lawyers, judges and even local journalists.
